Slack

Send expiration reminders to a Slack channel. Available from the Pro plan and above.

Setup

  1. Create an Incoming Webhook  in your Slack workspace
  2. Copy the webhook URL (starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/...)
  3. In Expirly: Go to Settings → Notifications → Slack
  4. Paste the webhook URL and save
  5. Click Test to verify the connection

Message Format

Reminders are sent as formatted Slack messages containing the following information:

  • Item name and category
  • Expiration date and remaining days
  • Current status (color-coded)
  • Direct link to the item in Expirly
