Telegram

Send expiration reminders to a Telegram chat or group. Available on all plans including Free.

Setup

1. Create a bot via @BotFather  and copy the bot token
2. Add the bot to your group or start a direct chat
3. Determine your chat ID (send a message to the bot, then check https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates)
4. In Expirly: Go to Settings → Notifications → Telegram
5. Enter the bot token and chat ID, then save
6. Click Test to verify the connection

Message Format

Reminders are sent as formatted Telegram messages containing the item name, category, status, and expiration date.
